System Architecture

WorkingDoc CostControl consists of electronic interface that is installed directly on your device and software that is installed on your server. It does not require any expensive external proximity card reader and avoids inaccuracy which is common in case of the systems based on the software.

Working Comfort

WorkingDoc CostControl is user transparent and therefore you do not even have to remember that it is in place. You just need to go to your device, use proximity card and system will automatically assign you to corresponding Cost Center, make corresponding functionality available and assign costs. From administrator’s point of view, you get fully configurable tool to maintain precision, complexity and relevancy of the whole document environment. You just have to enter a user to the environment to let system access on every device in the structure. A person responsible for monthly costs will acquire ready reports for the suppliers (e.g. cost per page calculations) and get data for detailed internal bookkeeping. For a Managing Director lower overall costs and no objections from users, who virtually feel no difference, will be important.

There are many proximity card solutions on the market that allow you to account costs of document production. They drawback is high cost of proximity card reader.

External card readers usually cost over 3000 PLN, what in case of bigger solutions may prove the whole idea unprofitable. WorkingDoc CostControl offers you hardware inside the device which completely integrates with the machine and is controlled by external software.

Advanced Security

WorkingDoc CostControl utilizes LDAP/ Active Directory technology for the user reference data base.

It forces data homogeneity and allows entering accounts outside Active Directory or editing existing data. Within the system you are allowed to create flexible structure of groups with specific characteristic and access rights. That gives an administrator new possibilities to manage whole structure.

100% precision

In solutions based solely on software you can expect the margin of error of about +/- 5 per cent. Imagine you have monthly output of 100,000 pages. This will leave you with up to 5000 pages you do not know where to assign.

Reporting

WorkingDoc Cost Control offers efficient solution for current and term reports. Systems reports include: term report, Cost Centre report, user list and other. Information can be filtered according to location, place, device, workgroup, Cost Center and many others depending on needs.

Efficient control even without proximity cards

When a company does not have and does not plan to implement proximity cards, system can utilize existing ActiveDirectory and LDAP accounts.
