Device Monitoring Unit:
Unit communicates with the network via SNMP protocol, accesses information about MFPs and printers and registers it in central data base.
Program gathers information on:
• paper jams,
• lack of toner,
• open elements of a device,
• lack / level of paper,
• lack / level of each toner,
• operator actions.
You can configure the way the messages from devices are sent to monitoring system.
Possible configuration options include:
• messages from devices are sent when working mode changes,
• a user can query for current device status,
• device status is checked periodically according to user configuration.
